You are an upbeat, customer-service-focused problem-solver. As Patient Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for the execution and oversight of processing all patient referrals that require a benefit check before receiving services at Hopebridge. You will communicate with customers by reviewing services their insurance policies cover and answering any coverage related questions. 

Role Overview  

  • Process all patient referrals that require a benefit check, including all commercial and Medicaid policies 
  • Call insurance companies to obtain benefit information related to our services 
  • Check insurance portals and collect all relevant information for patient files 
  • Relay pertinent benefit information to necessary clinicians and supervisors within the company 
  • Outline specifics of benefit information to parents/guardians and provide information regarding eligibility for services 
  • Field incoming calls and answer any questions families may have about their eligibility and benefits 
  • Input accurate and detailed information into corresponding documents

  • 18 days of PTO (11 days of paid time off and 7 paid holidays)

Profile of an Ideal Candidate 

  • Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent 
  • Must be a decisive, organized, and process-oriented individual 
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously, and impact our people, customers, and financials 
  • Must be comfortable with daily commute to Home Office on Northwest side of Indianapolis
