Medical Payment Poster

Description

You have experience in healthcare payment posting, possess a working knowledge of EOBs, and have the ability to demonstrate strong data entry and typing skills. As a Medical Payment Poster, you will manually and electronically process and post a high volume of billing statements payments for services rendered. You will be an integral part of our Revenue Cycle team, directly impacting the entire organization, and ensuring payments are posted timely and accurately.

What You'll Do

• Post commercial and Medicaid payments
• Post incoming EOBs electronically (ERA) or incoming checking (manual keying) deposits from the daily banking remit file
• Process and reconcile approximately 150 remittances per day with minimal errors
• Ensures EOBs are internally scanned for record-keeping
• Recoups and offsets
• Access payer online portals
• Call payers for additional information

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent required; however, an associate degree or higher is preferred
• At least 1 year of healthcare payment posting experience required
• Ability to work in a busy office environment
  
• Ability to operate standard office equipment
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel

Your Pay and Benefits

• Starting rate of $19.00 per hour
• Monday through Friday schedule
