As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Hopebridge, you will be responsible for performing accounts payable duties, reconciliations, assisting with month-end close processes, fixed asset set up and tracking, and aiding the Accounting Manager and Manager of Financial Reporting as needed. 

 

What You'll Do 

  • Accounts payables function for multiple locations, including printing of invoices, coding to various cost centers, communication with clinics and data entry to accounting software  
  • Assist with managing the daily accounting operations, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and related financial reporting  
  • Maintaining and managing g/l accounts in accordance with GAAP and corporate objectives and policies  
  • Preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations and coordination/communication with various clinics 
  • Assistance with preparation of financial statements, trend/variance analysis, and other reporting packages for senior and executive management  
  • Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and presorting financial data  
  • Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential 
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed 
  • Collaborate with team members and functional department managers to provide accurate, timely and relevant information 
  • Perform research for question related to accounting information for management and staff 
  • Support companies’ informational and process improvement needs with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and relevance, while minimizing Operational impact 
  • Other miscellaneous duties, as may be assigned from time to time 

What You’ll Need   

  • Associate’s degree in accounting or finance required 
  • 1-2 years' experience in a corporate or office setting required 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel) required 
  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred
  • Experience in month-end close processes preferred 
  • Must be able to multitask effectively and respond to changing deadlines and priorities  
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment such as a desktop, laptop, 10-key, and phone  
  • Must be comfortable in a busy, everchanging office environment

Your Pay and Benefits   

  • Starting salary of $45K to $50K per year (based on experience) 
  • Monday through Friday schedule 
  • 28 days of PTO (20 days of paid time off, 7 paid holidays, 1 paid flex holiday)
